Open Action Learning Programmes

ABOUT OPEN ACTION LEARNING PROGRAMMES

Learning from other leaders and solving real business problems

Open Action Learning Programmes are designed for people from various organisations who value experiential learning, want to develop as leaders and find new solutions to business challenges.

ELEMENTS OF THE PROGRAMME

TOPICS OF OPEN ACTION LEARNING GROUPS

The imposter phenomenon affects over 70% of us, making it difficult to function primarily professionally, because the belief that we are not as intelligent, capable, qualified or talented as other people think makes us feel afraid of being exposed.

Therefore if:
- you feel that you remain in the shadow and are afraid to step out of line, express your opinion, propose a solution or stand up to unethical practice,
- you spend a lot of time preparing for meetings, presentations, analyses, you endlessly polish e-mails and slides, you work excessively and take on new tasks,
- you put off your business idea, a key project activity, an important report or presentation,
- you are constantly afraid of the opinions of others and believe that you should demonstrate competence and self-confidence regardless of the situation

then the formula of working in a development group is for you. We will work on individual goals around dealing with the imposter syndrome so that everyone learns their patterns of action resulting from the fear of exposure, understands its source and develops new beliefs about their competences and self-confidence.
Psychological safety at work doesn't mean that everyone is nice to each other all the time. This means that people feel comfortable openly questioning the status quo, sharing feedback, exchanging their often different points of view, proposing new ideas and solutions, naming misunderstandings, and learning from both successes and failures. Research conducted in 2022 by the Center for Creative Leadership on almost 300 leaders over 2.5 years confirms that teams with a high degree of psychological safety reported higher levels of performance and lower levels of interpersonal conflict. Many studies on the level of commitment in the organizations we work with indicate that this is one of the key factors in building effective and committed teams.
At the same time, current challenges such as: the increasing diversity of needs of different groups of employees, generational changes, the increase in the popularity of the hybrid work model since the pandemic make building psychological safety at work a greater challenge for leaders.

We invite everyone who wants to be inspired and test different ways and solutions to build psychological safety in their teams to achieve the following results:
- increase the commitment of your employees and teams,
- strengthen teamwork and the sense of belonging of employees and teams working in the hybrid model,
- increase innovation and agility in teams,
- build a work culture in which employees make better decisions or propose better solutions,
- introduce changes better and more effectively,
- strengthen your leadership competences, especially in the field of inclusive leadership.
The simplest thing to say about assertiveness in business relationships is the ability to build partnerships based on mutual respect. Despite the best intentions, each of us has our own tendencies that make it difficult for us to function in partnerships with others. We tend to be too submissive in relationships with certain people, often with "authorities", people who, for example, are "higher than us" in the organizational hierarchy. Or, on the other end of the scale, excessively demanding of the people we work with. At a deeper level, assertiveness is based on awareness of one's own needs and boundaries, as well as what I want and what I do not want from myself, others, work, life 😊. Therefore, looking at yourself in this matter with the help of a group in a longer process gives you a chance for deep and lasting changes.

We invite all people who want to strengthen their competences in building relationships in business to participate in this Action Learning group, in particular
- learn how to make arrangements with others, conclude contracts, in a way that will ensure the implementation of these contracts,
- how to present your opinions so that they are taken into account by others,
- learn how to build trust in relationships with colleagues,
- how to take care of yourself and your interests while remaining respectful of other people.

In the Action Learning group, everyone will work on their personal development goals in the area of assertiveness in business relationships, while drawing inspiration from other people in the group and supporting each other in development.
One of the key competencies of every leader nowadays is the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders. With the globalization of companies and the creation of matrix structures, each manager, apart from his direct superior, works with a wide network of internal business partners. To be effective, he needs to involve them in working together and influence them, flexibly adapting to the needs and working styles of different people. This requires high awareness of the system that is your company, advanced communication skills and flexibility in cooperation.
We invite everyone who wants to improve their effectiveness in matrix structures in Polish or international organizations to participate in the Action Learning group on Stakeholder Relationship Management, especially people who want to:
- learn to build trusted relationships with stakeholders
- expand your communication and influence skills
- improve cooperation with specific stakeholders
- increase awareness of the ecosystem of its stakeholders and the roles they play in a given organization.

In the Action Learning group, everyone will work on their personal development goals in terms of managing relationships with stakeholders, while drawing inspiration from other people in the group and supporting each other in development.
